Terms of Use

Detailed terms for the website, portal, registration, marketplace and the current CleanLedger test phase.

Terms of Use for CleanLedger. Demo version, status: June 8, 2026. The German version is the controlling language version.

1. Provider and contact

Provider of the website, portal and CleanLedger services is Pines & Palms Retreats. Contact for use, account, marketplace, demo access and contract questions: brandys.seevetal+cleanledger@gmail.com.

2. Scope

These terms apply to the use of CleanLedger, including cleanledger.app, information pages, registration, login, portal areas, contact channels, marketplace functions, test access, demo features and all related digital services.

3. Test phase, beta status and product development

CleanLedger is in an ongoing setup, test and development phase. Features may be incomplete, preliminary, experimental, temporarily disabled or visible only as demos. Users acknowledge that CleanLedger is not yet a complete production system for operations, accounting, legal, tax, payment, scheduling or quality management.

4. No guarantee of operational results

CleanLedger supports digital organization and preparation of workflows around vacation rentals, housekeeping, tasks, photo proof, teams and marketplace. It does not guarantee that tasks are completed on time, cleaning actually happens, guests are satisfied, properties remain defect-free, dates are imported correctly or economic results are achieved.

5. No use for critical decisions

CleanLedger must not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical, legal, tax, official, employment, rental, accounting or financial decisions. Users must independently verify relevant information, dates, duties, costs, bookings, payment data, guest information and work results.

6. Services and feature scope

The feature scope may include website access, product information, account functions, portal areas, marketplace views, contact inquiries, task logic, checklists, photo proof, calendar and guest-change preparation, roles, team functions and admin insights. There is no claim to specific features, integrations, designs, workflows, app versions or permanently unchanged content.

7. Registration, account and credentials

Users must provide correct, current and complete information. Login credentials must be kept confidential. Actions through a user account are treated as initiated by the account holder unless misuse is proven. Suspected misuse must be reported to CleanLedger immediately.

8. User obligations

Users are responsible for their own properties, guests, service providers, employees, cleaning, workflows, checklists, photos, content, costs, agreements and legal duties. Users must ensure that submitted or uploaded content is lawful and does not infringe third-party rights.

9. Marketplace, requests, offers and contact

Marketplace content is used to display requests, offers and service information. CleanLedger is not automatically a contractual party, employer, principal, broker, payment provider or guarantor for services between users. Contracts, prices, dates, quality, liability and fulfilment between marketplace participants must be clarified by those participants themselves.

10. Content, photos and proof

Users may only upload or transmit content for which they hold the necessary rights and permissions. This applies especially to photos of apartments, people, IDs, keys, security features, guest property and sensitive information. CleanLedger may remove, block or hide content if there is a risk of misuse, security issues or legal concerns.

11. Prices, plans, test access and billing

Prices, plans, test phases, free access, beta access and billing may follow the respective displayed offer. As long as full payment and billing logic is not active, individual price information may be informational or preparatory only. A paid contract is created only if this is clearly shown and confirmed in the respective flow.

12. Availability, maintenance and changes

CleanLedger may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, development, bug fixing, updates, server, domain, hosting, database, network or third-party issues. Features may be expanded, renamed, adjusted, restricted or removed where needed for operation, security, product development or economic viability.

13. Third-party providers and external services

CleanLedger may use services such as Vercel for hosting and delivery and Supabase for authentication, database and technical backend functions. External services have their own technical conditions, availability and security mechanisms. Disruptions or changes by external providers may affect CleanLedger.

14. Privacy and communication

Processing of personal data is governed by the website privacy information. Communication may take place by e-mail, website, portal or later additional channels. Users are responsible for not submitting unnecessary sensitive data, third-party personal data or confidential information where it is not needed for the request.

15. Blocking, deletion and misuse protection

CleanLedger may temporarily or permanently block accounts, content, inquiries, listings or functions if there are indications of misuse, false information, security risks, spam, unlawful content, trademark issues, privacy issues, payment problems or disruption of operations.

16. Liability

CleanLedger is liable only to the extent required by mandatory law. Liability for simple negligence exists only for breach of essential contractual obligations and is limited to foreseeable, typical damages to the extent legally permitted. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

17. No responsibility for third-party work and real-world execution

CleanLedger is not responsible for services by hosts, owners, managers, cleaners, service providers, guests or other third parties. CleanLedger is also not responsible for whether real cleaning, checks, repairs, payments, key handovers, guest changes or other operational work is actually, timely, completely or correctly performed.

18. Final provisions

German law applies unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise. If individual provisions are or become invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. The German language version is controlling; other language versions are provided for better understanding.
